Harita Mehta's journey, much like those of countless women who have dared to challenge the status quo, is one of unwavering dedication and resilience. Born and raised in the vibrant and complex streets of New Delhi, Harita’s path was shaped by a deep-rooted sense of justice and a belief that every voice, especially those silenced by society, deserves to be heard. Her parents instilled in her the values of hard work, integrity, and an unshakable commitment to making the world a fairer place.

As a fierce advocate for women's rights and social justice, Harita Mehta has spent her career defending the marginalized and standing up for those who cannot defend themselves. From her role as an advocate for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to within key social initiatives, her efforts have always been grounded in the principle that justice must be accessible to all. Whether in the courtroom or in the streets leading protests, she has tirelessly fought to dismantle the barriers that hinder equality.

Through her legal career and political engagement, Harita launched multiple initiatives designed to empower women and uplift underserved communities. Her efforts have touched thousands of lives—from helplines offering real-time support to women in distress, to grassroots legal counselling and mediation services, ensuring that even those without a voice are given the tools to stand tall. She spearheaded a movement of change with a vision focused not only on justice but on transforming societal structures that uphold inequality.

Harita's work transcends the legal and political sphere. Much like a personal mission, she has always believed in creating spaces where women can thrive independently. As a mother of two daughters, she brings this philosophy into her personal life, nurturing within her family the same values of equality and empowerment she advocates for on the larger stage. Her work for women’s education and economic independence through initiatives like the Mehar Charitable Society mirrors her deep belief in the transformative power of education and opportunity.

She has also taken on the formidable challenge of leading her family business, Jagdamba Sai Gas Agencies, showcasing her prowess not only in advocacy and politics but in entrepreneurship as well. Her multifaceted leadership is a testament to the idea that women can and must occupy spaces in every sector, whether it's in the courtroom, boardroom, or community activism.
